Hussein Chalayan

Finding inspiration in science, art, and technology, Hussein Chalayan has always balanced striking minimalism and innovation. Combining new age technology with innovative materials, fabrics, and fits, Chalayan likes to create a narrative around the human body. Prior to launching his ready-to-wear line in 1994 and winning numerous British Designer of the Year awards, Chalayan studied at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London.
