Ermenegildo Zegna founded his eponymous fashion house in 1910 and came to be known for the ultra luxurious fabric he used to produce men's suiting. Following Ermenegildo's death in 1966, his sons Aldo and Angelo took over the family business and launched a line of ready-made suits two years later. A made-to-measure service, Su Misura, was introduced in 1972. The company also designs a sportswear line, Zegna Sport, and a younger, more casual line, Z Zegna.
