Founders Jean-Lou Tepper, Jacques Nataf and Philippe de Hesdin opened their first store in Paris in 1984, appealing to a young demographic by offering a range of contemporary women's wear inspired by French fashion trends. A subsidiary of the Vivarte group since 1996, the company is also known for its charitable affiliations, raising money for educational opportunities as well as AIDS and breast cancer awareness.
